"The William O' Brien / Liam Ó Briain commemoration was held on the 12 Dec 2015 on a very rain soaked day, 100 years after he joined the Irish Volunteers which was Nov 1915. Over 40 people gathered between family and friends.

The headstone was unveiled by his Grandsons Liam and William and wreaths were laid by his Grandsons Pascal and Kevin and by the National Graves Association's Mrs Peggy Galligan. A special thanks is extended by the family to John Mc Cann and the lads in Glasnevin monuments.

The O'Brien family made a generous donation to the NGA for which we are truly grateful. This money has been set aside for a new set of flags for the Rising centenery which will be held on 24th April. Go raibh maith agaibh."
